Time Locker

How the Time Locker ecosystem works

A public guide to our products, software, and network — written for residents, building managers, couriers, producers, and investors who need to find their way around timelocker.london.

Last updated: June 2026

Time Locker connects physical locker hardware with software for secure deliveries, building logistics, local marketplace, and city-scale network growth.

This page explains what each part does, how the pieces fit together, and why we designed certain flows the way we did. It does not replace legal terms or individual product datasheets — see Products and Contact for quotes and support.

1. What is Time Locker?

Time Locker is a delivery and access network: smart parcel lockers, resident apps, courier verification, and tools for local producers and network operators.

The public website (timelocker.london) is available in English and Croatian. Signed-in users access the App hub, locker flows, shop, and — for business accounts — encrypted document storage.

Why it works this way

  • Last-mile delivery fails when access is ambiguous. We make every hand-off intentional: a verified courier action, an owner secret, or an explicit Soft Point link — not an open door.
  • Hardware and software are one system. Quoting, installation, daily use, and network growth all share the same account and audit mindset.
  • Hardware — home (L-series), residential hubs (R-series), access devices (A-series)
  • Time Locker app — account hub for locker, deliveries, Virtual Locker, Soft Point
  • Cloud Lock — control platform for delivery, access, and data (marketing page /cloud-lock)
  • Network — map, waiting list, investment interest, shop, neighbor delivery
  • Virtual Locker — digital catalogs included with active accounts
2. Hardware products

TIME LOCKER hardware spans compact home boxes, full residential cabinets, and access add-ons. Configurable models (L-1, L-3, R-1, R-2) use an online configuration form that starts a quotation — not instant e-commerce checkout.

Why it works this way

  • Buildings differ in power, connectivity, and volume. Configuration captures your site constraints before we quote steel, locks, and integration.
  • Steel specs, RAL finish, TL smart lock, and certifications (RoHS, COC) are documented per model on the Products page.

Main public models:

  • Type L-1 / L-3 — home parcel lockers (400 mm footprint; 600 mm or 1200 mm height)
  • Type R-1 / R-2 — residential delivery hubs for lobbies and multi-unit entrances
  • Home A-1 Door / A-4 Keybox — smart access and key handover linked to the app
  • Configuration options — mains or battery power, online/offline mode, heating/cooling, send/receive, payment module, mail compartment

After you submit configuration, our team follows up with a tailored quote. Installation and commissioning are coordinated separately from software onboarding.

3. Account & registration

Create an account with email and a strong password (minimum 12 characters, including a number and special character). Some account types — especially buildings and businesses — require email verification and a short admin review before locker and vault features unlock.

Why it works this way

  • Shared building infrastructure affects many residents. We review certain client types so lockers are not provisioned against invalid or abusive registrations.
  • One Appwrite account powers timelocker.london and the business vault at /dashboard — you do not need separate logins for marketing site and storage.

Typical account statuses:

  • pending email verification — you can sign in with limited access until you confirm email
  • pending admin review — profile submitted; operations team approves building/business accounts
  • active — full access to App hub, locker owner flow, Virtual Locker, and shop checkout
  • rejected or suspended — sign-in may work but product access is blocked with an explanation
4. Receiving a delivery (resident)

Your locker only opens for deliveries that the system can verify. That protects you from random drop-offs and gives couriers a clear yes/no at the door.

Why it works this way

  • Email forwarding ties the digital order to the physical label — without it, strict matching has nothing to compare.
  • Photo-first courier verify is mandatory in production. Manual fallback exists only when the locker explicitly allows it — never as a default bypass.

Owner checklist:

  • Register and wait until your account is active
  • Forward your order confirmation email to prihvat@time-locker.com or accept@time-locker.com
  • The system creates a parcel intent couriers can match against
  • Courier arrives, uses the public UNLOCK flow, photographs the label, and deposits the parcel
  • You unlock your compartment at the owner flow with your secret word
5. Courier delivery flow

Couriers do not need a Time Locker account for standard deposit. They open the UNLOCK page, follow on-screen steps, and must photograph the parcel label.

Why it works this way

  • Photos create an auditable hand-off without asking every courier to install an app.
  • Strict matching prevents mis-deliveries to the wrong compartment — a common failure mode in shared lockers.
  • Label photo is required — OCR reads recipient and reference data
  • System matches against the owner’s parcel intent (from forwarded order email)
  • On match → compartment opens (or unlock signal in demo environments)
  • On mismatch → deposit blocked; owner must confirm order email was forwarded
6. App hub & Virtual Locker

The App hub is your signed-in home for locker status, Soft Point, and links to deeper tools. Virtual Locker is a digital shelf for supplier catalogs and PDF documents — separate from Time Locker Shop physical goods.

Why it works this way

  • Residents need one place to see delivery state; businesses need document distribution without emailing large PDFs.
  • Virtual Locker uses the same encrypted vault standards as Cloud Lock digital storage.
  • App hub (/app) — central navigation after login
  • Virtual Locker — folder tree under “Virtual Locker” in the business dashboard
  • Upload and download follow encrypted storage rules and company quota
  • Operators may distribute catalog PDFs to all clients — they appear in your Virtual Locker automatically
7. Cloud Lock (control platform)

Cloud Lock is the complete platform for delivery control, access, and data — parcel handoff and pickup, unlocking and space control, plus an encrypted vault. Time Locker is the consumer network face; Cloud Lock is the configurable / white-label engine.

Why it works this way

  • Siloed tools do not give one control plane. Cloud Lock joins delivery, unlock, and data in one application.
  • Delivery & pickup — locker, Soft Point, courier rules, audit
  • Unlock & space — app unlock, access windows, who may do what
  • Digital vault at /dashboard — encrypted storage for critical files
  • White-label — buy or configure the full application under your brand
8. Time Locker Network

The network is a city-scale model: locations on a map, demand from waiting lists, operators who purchase sites, and investment interest for new deployments.

Why it works this way

  • We install where demand is proven, not only where marketing asks — waiting list data de-risks capex.
  • Separating “interest” (waiting list), “ownership” (manager checkout), and “investment lead” (reservation form) keeps each workflow honest.

Public network features:

  • Network map — see installed, reserved, and upcoming locations
  • Waiting list — apply for a free locker placement with address, photo, and interest signals
  • Priority scoring — areas with more verified interest rank higher for installation waves
  • Buy a location — Stripe checkout for network managers who operate a purchased site
  • Network Manager dashboard — tools for operators after purchase
  • Referral links — share your code; ambassadors are tracked when others join the waiting list
9. Marketplace (Time Locker Shop)

Time Locker Shop connects local producers (OPG) with residents. Products are listed online, paid via Stripe, and fulfilled to locker or Soft Point delivery where available.

Why it works this way

  • Moderation keeps the marketplace local and trustworthy — not a anonymous global listing site.
  • Locker-native delivery closes the loop: buy local honey online, pick up on your way home.

For shoppers and producers:

  • Shoppers — browse approved products at /shop; pay with Stripe; choose locker or Soft Point delivery when available
  • Producers — annual membership via Stripe; use the producer panel to create a product, upload an image, set price, and submit for review
  • Moderation — products go live only after operator approval
  • Slots — typically one active product listing per membership tier; contact us to expand
10. Soft Point (neighbor delivery)

When your locker compartment is full or you are not home, Soft Point lets a trusted neighbor receive on your behalf — with explicit accept/reject on both sides.

Why it works this way

  • Overflow parcels should not bounce back to depot. Neighbor hand-off works only with consent — never automatic access to your locker.
  • Guest sends Soft Point invitation by neighbor email from the App hub
  • Host accepts or rejects — link stays pending until resolved
  • Active Soft Point links appear as delivery options in shop checkout
  • Either party can revoke an active link; guest can cancel pending requests
11. Investment & hosting

The investment page explains the network vision with map markers for secured, available, and deployed locations. Submitting “investment interest” is a lead form — not automated securities trading or in-app payment today.

Why it works this way

  • Real-world locker sites need human diligence — zoning, landlord agreements, power, and install logistics — before money changes hands.
  • Read the investment narrative and open the network map
  • Click an available location — review details and submit reservation form
  • Our team contacts you within a few business days
  • Property owners can also join the waiting list with site photo and address data
12. Privacy & security (public summary)

We treat delivery verification, account data, and stored files as security-critical. This section summarizes what public users should know — not internal runbooks.

Why it works this way

  • Transparency builds trust. We publish behavior users can verify (photo required, email forward required) rather than vague “AI-powered” claims.
  • Sign-in uses industry-standard email/password via Appwrite; API calls from the browser use short-lived JWT tokens
  • Vault files are encrypted at rest; uploads/downloads go through our controlled storage layer — not public buckets
  • Courier verify does not expose owner secrets; couriers never see your unlock word
  • Rate limits and validation protect public forms (contact, waiting list, investment leads)
  • Admin operations require a designated operator account — there is no public admin URL in navigation
13. Frequently asked questions
  • Is Time Locker the same as Cloud Lock? — Time Locker is the consumer network brand; Cloud Lock is the complete control platform (delivery, unlock, space, vault) that operators configure or white-label.
  • Which languages? — Public site: English (/en) and Croatian (/hr).
  • Why is my account pending? — Building/business registrations may need manual approval after email verify.
  • Can couriers skip the photo? — No in production; photo verify is mandatory.
  • What is Virtual Locker? — Digital catalogs for your account, not general-purpose cloud storage marketing.
  • How do I become a producer? — /shop/producers for membership, then /shop/producer to list products after approval.
  • Does investment checkout charge my card? — Not today; reservation is interest-only contact.
14. Getting help

Use Contact for sales quotes, installation questions, and account issues. The Blog publishes product and network updates. For urgent delivery problems, include your account email and locker location in the message.

This guide reflects the live platform as of June 2026. Features marked as planned in internal roadmaps may arrive later — when in doubt, Contact confirms current availability for your city.
